Fall is the best time of year on Martha’s Vineyard!  Join us for a race unlike any other: the Fifth Annual Martha’s Vineyard Brunch Run/Walk on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 8:00 am presented by the Edgartown Board of Trade.

Pick your distance! This race offers both 5K and 10K USATF sanctioned courses which are flat and fast, and the 10K course runs along scenic Atlantic Drive right by the ocean. Immediately following the race, this unique and exciting event includes a post-race "Brunch" party with "over the top" brunch nibbles and refreshing beverages presented by our sponsors. All participants will receive a t-shirt and custom commemorative brunch glass which are guaranteed for the first 150 registrants. Medals will be awarded to the first place finisher in each running race category.

Proceeds from this event support the continuing economic initiatives of the Edgartown Board of Trade business members.  A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to the Amity Island Running Club.   Each year, we present & support events such as  Mother's Day Weekend, Juneteenth, Pride Weekend, 4th of July, Bass in the Grass, The Great Edgartown Raffle & Christmas in Edgartown.   The Edgartown Board of Trade is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization.

RACE INFORMATION:

RACE DAY ON-SITE REGISTRATION: We will offer race day registration from 7:00 am-7:45 am at the Katama General Store. The registration fee is $35 for the 5K and $45 for the 10K. 

BIB PICK UP: Pick up your number, t-shirt, and brunch wristband on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 5:00-6:00 pm, and on Saturday morning pre-race at the Katama General Store, 170 Katama Road, Edgartown. For those checking in on Friday, Katama General Store offers takeout options such as pizza, meatball subs, and chicken parmesan. Order online and take dinner home with you after pick up!

PARKING: There is no parking available at the Katama General Store. We encourage all participants to be dropped off or to park at the Edgartown School parking lot and do a warm-up walk or bike ride to the Katama General Store (about 1 mile). There will be limited shuttle service courtesy of Adam Cab running from the Edgartown School to the start from 7:00 am - 8:00 am and then returning from 9:00 am- 10:30 am.

WATER STATIONS: There will be TWO water stations on the 10K course and ONE on the 5K course.    If you prefer, please bring your own water bottle.

USATF SANCTIONED: Both races are USATF sanctioned courses and each is chip timed with a mass start format. Please wear your bib on the front and be sure it is not covered by clothing. Medals will be awarded for first place males and females in each race category at the conclusion of the event. 

POST RUN/BRUNCH: This race is presented by the Edgartown Board of Trade as well as our sponsors listed on our race website. Beverage sponsors will provide refreshments along with brunch nibbles. Participants must be 21 or older to consume alcoholic beverages.

RAFFLE:  At bib pick up you will be asked to enter your raffle tag from your bib for some amazing gifts from our generous sponsors and the Edgartown Board of Trade. Winners will be announced on race day. Participants may also purchase a ticket for the Great Edgartown Raffle at go.rallyup.com/edgartown for a 50/50 raffle running until December with the winner being chosen during Christmas in Edgartown. Last year’s winner won over $10,000!

BRUNCH NIBBLES: Brunch nibbles are limited to those participants with a wristband, however, Katama General Store will be open race day for spectators to purchase their own food and beverages.  Brunch Nibbles wristbands will not be available for purchase.  You will receive your commemorative glass as you cross the finish line.
