Brand New for Spring 2024!
The Hickory Sunrise Rotary Run, Walk, and Roll Adaptive 5K and Miler. We
welcome all racers, including participants in all events who may have a permanent visual, physical, or
intellectual impairment that affects their ability to participate in long distance running.
Race Day is Saturday, April 27th!
Mission:Our mission is not only one of community outreach, but to also feature and support the adaptive
community and disability services in the Catawba County Region.Hickory Sunrise Rotary also works to support Veterans Helping Veterans, CVCC scholarships, Hickory
Soup Kitchen, and Education Opportunities for young people.You will enjoy a fabulous day of
camaraderie and community support of Runners of all ages and abilities.Help Us Help Others!

Packet Pick-Up:
Friday, April 26th - First United Methodist Church: 311 3rd Ave NE, Hickory, NC 28601
5:00 to 7:00 pm - Packet Pickup Event! Come grab your race bib at First United Methodist Church: 311 3rd Ave NE, Hickory, NC 28601.
Extra-T-shirts will also be sold for $15/each.
Race Day:
Saturday, April 27th – SALT Block 243 3rd Avenue NE, Hickory NC 28601
8:00 am - Day-of registration opens for those not yet registered. Packets (race bibs) can also be
picked up if you missed Friday's Packet Pick-Up Event.8:30 am - Day-of registration closes.
9:00 am - Race starts!
9:30 am - Race awards for fastest male and female in each age bracket are announced.
Parking:
First United Methodist Church: 311 3rd Ave NE, Hickory, NC 28601; SALT Block: 243 3rd Avenue NE, Hickory NC 28601
Volunteers:
Will be stationed at the entrances to the park directing traffic.
Bathrooms:
There are bathrooms facilities inside the Catawba Science Center common area.
Day-of-Registration:
Will be located near the start/finish line.
Medic:
Local EMS/Firefighters will be on site to address minor medical issues should they occur
during the race.Food and Water:
Snacks and bottled water will be provided to race participants.
Sponsor Tents:
Race Sponsor Tents will be set up in the SALT Block Lawn area. Please stop by the Race Sponsor Tents to learn more about local business who are supporting the race!
