Mark your calendars for May 4th, 2024, as Columbia Wellness proudly presents the 13th Annual Run the Path, a 5K Run and Walk event in Longview, WA. This event is absolutely FREE and aims to promote Mental Health Awareness Month while bringing together people from the Lower Columbia region to celebrate overall health and wellness. The fun-filled run/walk will start at 9 am sharp from the Hemlock Plaza at Lake Sacajawea in Longview, WA. As a participant, you will be able to grab a FREE T-Shirt, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis before the event. Additionally, you will receive your runner number and a runner's bag, and get to visit booths from local agencies and businesses. So, get ready to lace up your running shoes and Run the Path!
Agenda for race day:
• 8:30 am - Race registration - Shirt and bag pickup
• 9 am - Speakers: CEO of Columbia Wellness, Drew McDaniel; Mayor Spencer Boudreau - reading of Mental Health Awareness Month Proclamation; and Senator Jeff Wilson with a kickoff message.
• 9:15 am: Run and walk begins
• After the race: Top finisher prizes; general raffle prizes.
• 11:30 am: Closing words and Wrap up
