4 MILES EVERY 4 HOURS FOR 48 HOURS

    YES. YOU. CAN.

The 4x4x48 Challenge is an event that originated in the twisted mind of former Navy Seal and all around bad ass, David Goggins. He originally created this regimen to train for 100+ mile endurance races. This challenge will test your mental strength by overcoming that inner voice that says you can just stay on the couch in comfort instead of subjecting yourself to more physical work. Do you have what it takes to push outside the comfort zone?

This year we are attempting to raise money for the Roseau County Cancer Fund provided by LifeCare Medical Center thru the LifeCare Healthcare Fund. ALL DONATIONS AND PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE ROSEAU COUNTY CANCER FUND! Please got to https://lifecaremedicalcenter.org/lifecare-health-care-fund/ for more details on the Roseau County Cancer Fund.

    As for the "challenge".....

Each challenge will be 4 miles and there will be a total of 12 challenges. This can be completed at home, in the gym, with us as a group at ROAR outside or by themselves. The participant must however provide proof of distance covered along with the start and end times for each challenge completed. The challenge starts at 8pm Friday evening March 22nd and continues every 4 hours until Sunday at 8pm March 24th. The last challenge actually starts at 4pm on Sunday and you have until 8pm to complete it. ALL CHALLENGES MUST START ON TIME ON THE 4 HOUR MARK. If you fail to start the challenge at the mandatory start time you forfeit that challenge.

    Times for challenges will be: 8pm Friday March 22nd, 12am, 4am, 8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm, 12am, 4am, 8am, 12pm & the final challenge starts at 4pm Sunday March 24th.

As a participant you have the option to donate and/or become a "fundraiser". You will be able to share a link that will be provided to you at the time of signup if you select to become a fundraiser that you can share on Facebook or thru text or email that will allow people to donate a set amount on your behalf. You will also be provided with a sponsor pledge sheet if you so choose to gather sponsors who will pledge an amount for each challenge you complete. Please contact Riverview Outdoors for this sheet.

To become a sponsor for a participant, all you have to do is pledge an amount you wish to donate when your sponsored participant completes a circuit. The participant will provide a sponsor sheet provided by ROAR to the sponsor. Please contact us for a sponsor sheet if you wish to find sponsors.

As mentioned above, each challenge will be 4 miles and there will be a total of 12 challenges. This can be completed at home, in the gym, with us as a group outside or by themselves. The participant must however provide proof of distance covered along with the start and end times for each challenge completed.

This means if you sponsor a participant and that participant completes 8 challenges and you pledged $20 per circuit completed then you would give that participant $160 in the form of a check written out to the “LifeCare HealthCare Fund”.

All proceeds will be given to the LHF (LifeCare Healthcare Fund) and directed to the Roseau County Cancer Fund.

Our Goal is $1000 to be given to the fund to help those in Roseau County battling cancer.

    Let's do this!!

For the love of all that is good and moisture wicking...

Though we try to be accurate and on top of things... Race details can change when we aren't lookin. And once in a while we simply make a mistake.
