    The Plot Thickens......Moving to the Spring for 2024.

    26.2 Hours of racing, umm sort of ? 

    8 hours at Lake James with NO Mountain Biking

    NCARS will be back at Lake James State Park for this years event again. At the edge of the Linville Gorge area of North Carolina. Racers will also have the option to register for (separately) for an 8 hour race with NO paddling, and a 10 hour race Saturday before continuing to race Sunday. So you could still get in your 26.2 hours of racing for the weekend.

    This 8 hour race will be a little different : NO Mountain Biking, a bushwhacking O-course and a scenic paddle on Lake James, If you have participated in one of our races then you know we like to make it challenging yet suited for every skill level. 

    This will be our 5th year at this site and we look forward to offering another great time in the great outdoors.
