This is our second year for LCR 5K Pints for Pups Beer Run with the addition of a 1 Mile fun walk/run.  The course runs through the borough of Quakertown and is a flat, fast 5K run.  The course is the same one that we used last year as everyone loved the run.  The race is taking place at 5 pm this year, as a result of several people asking for a time change from last year.  Hopefully, it will work out better for all runners/walkers.  Also the i mile run/walk will state at 5:15 pm.  The 1 mile walk will be dog and stroller friendly.  Dogs, however, must be leashed.  The Trolley Barn is dog friendly and their is lots of seating for everyone outside of the Trolley Barn.  Last Chance Ranch in combination with the race is celebrating Pints For Pups, which is a national fund raising event to support animal rescues.  There is parking on the streets of Quakertown, and there is also parking behind the Trolley Barn.  Every runner will be allowed 1 free beer from 2 Rivers Brewing and Doan Distillery will also have 1 free beverage if beer is not your thing.  We are again, very excited to have  this event to help raise money for Last Chance Ranch.  

Event details and schedule

1. The 5K will start at 5:00 pm

2. The 1 mile fun run/walk starts at 5:15 and will be leashed dog and stroller friendly, the 5K will continue to not allow dogs, and strollers, to keep the race more friendly for everyone.  

3.  Registration will start at 3:30 behind the Trolley Barn.

4.  Everyone who pre-registers will receive a T-shirt, those who register the day of the race will be able to get a shirt for an additional 5 bucks.  Extra shirts will be available for purchase for non runners as well.
