We've added something new and FUN to our 2024 event! We now have a 2 person 5K RELAY for runners! $18 per participant for a total of $36 for the TEAM.  The first leg of your team will run 1.56 miles then exchange with the second leg at the start line. The second leg of the team will end at the finish line with all other 5k runners and walkers. Three (3) categories of teams to register under: all male, all female and co-ed. Top 3 finishing teams in each category will be awarded.

Join us for a beautiful summer morning race throughout Huron's Old Plat and Oklahoma neighborhoods starting and ending at the Huron River Pier. There will be one water station on the route approximately at the 1.5 mile marker located at the Huron High School. This traditional annual race will be held during the weekend of Huron's River Festival. Please stay for the awards ceremony presented after the kids' fun run. After race awards, you can catch the River Fest parade on Cleveland Rd at 11:00 AM.

Event Highlights:

- Runners and Walkers PRE registration entry Fee: $20.00 per participant. All participants registered by 11:59pm on July 9th are guaranteed a race shirt!

- Runners and Walkers Race day registration is $25.00, shirts will be in limited supply and on a first-come / first-serve basis (pre-register and get the shirt!)

- Kids' Fun Run will be held between 9:00 and 9:30. Race Day registration only / $5 per child / will receive a race bib for keepsake.

- Pre-Race packet pick up will be held Friday July 12th 10am - noon at Pier Pub 38 Main St, Huron.

- Finisher’s Awards & Prizes: At approximately 9:30 AM we will begin award announcements. Male & Female OVERALL finishers in the runner AND walker categories will be awarded plaques, Medals awarded to the top 3 runners in each 5 year age groups. We will also announce door prizes before awards. Must be present - or have someone designated to receive your prize at the race.

- Online Registration: Available until 11:59pm on July 9, 2024 to be guaranteed a race shirt.
