Join us for the inaugural THP Trail Fest in highly forested Tug Hill Plateau region of NYS. Yes, that region gets more than it's fair share of snow in the winter but come Saturday July 8, 2023 temps and general conditions should be ideal for either a 50K, 25K,10K or the newly added 5K trail run on the XCountry ski trails that make up both the Osceola Ski and Sport Resort and the Osceola Tug Hill XC Ski Center.  The 50k, 25k and 10k will start/finish @ the Osceola Ski and Sport Center while the 5K will start/finish at the Osceola Tug Hill XC Ski Center. The post race celebration and festival for all 4 distance events will be held at the Osceola Ski and Sport Resort starting at 11:30am. 

As we work on constructing the course maps we can tell you that the elevation gain for the THP 50K will be ~2350', only a couple steeper inclines with mostly rolling hills. The elevation gain for the 25K will be ~1180', while the THP 10K will come in around 548'.

Work hard, play hard...we are planning on a very robust post race experience with a full on chicken/ribs BBQ (Vegan options as well) and live music to entertain you while you recover from your focused effort. The post race BBQ is free for all 50K, 10K and 5K registrants 

Top finishers (M/F) for the THP Trail Fest 50K and 25K will earn a free pair of VJ trail sneakers ($100+ value). There will be additional awards for top finishers for the 10K and 5K as well. We may include age group winner categories as well but this is dependent on the number of registrations.

Willow Running & Willow Adventure is all in on this effort to make sure that this event is worth the expense and travel. We hope you'll join us as we celebrate both healthy living and adventure.

You are welcome to tent the night before (July 7) on site. Bathroom facilities (port-a-potties) will be on-site and we will be there cooking burgers and dogs. There is a $15 per person charge to tent overnight, if this is something you plan on doing, please email us at willowrunningNY@gmail.com 

Other accommodation options available include, Tailwater Lodge Altmar, NY 25 minutes from Ski center Hilton property VERY Nice! 
There are also several Airbnb's in Redfield and Camden that are available currently.
The Country Corner Motel was just redone in the last few months.  It is on Airbnb and the price is good and about 10 minutes from the ski center.   

This event will benefit the CNY Chapter of Team Red, White & Blue (RWB) a 501(c)(3) organization that supports local veterans.
