Details from event's RunSignUp.com listing:
University of Central Missouri ROTC Fighting Mules Battalion is hosting its second Warrior Run! This is a challenging 2 mile course across various terrain with a built in obstacle course. All proceeds of this event benefit the UCM Fighting Mules Battalion.
This race is intended to be ran, however we greatly encourage anyone who wants to walk and/or run the course without the obstacles to sign up also.
The race will begin with the firing of the Battalions Howitzer cannon that is used every touchdown at the Mules football games. The first mile circles around Pertle Springs Lake, along a route usually restricted to the public. The second mile of the course cuts through the wood line to bring runners to the obstacle course which includes a wall climb, the weaver, balancing board, hurdling, rope climb, hurdle jump/climb low crawling and more! 10 burpees may be substituted for any obstacle as a scaled option. Participants will receive a Army ROTC goodie bag and the top male/female will be recognized for both adult (18+) and youth categories.
Parking will be located in either of the Pertle Springs parking lots. Participants will then make their way to the start point, located in the clearing on the top of Pertle Hill. Cadets will be there to give directions as necessary.
For the love of all that is good and moisture wicking...
ALWAYS visit the race's website for the most complete and accurate race information.
