Celebrate a celestial event! Join us for the Space Race – a 5k and 10k galactic voyage through scenic, paved recreational trails. The Space Race is part of Oxford’s Total Eclipse of the Parks weekend, where we will celebrate all things solar eclipse! You can get the party started the night before the race and pick up your packet at the Total Eclipse of the Parks party in Oxford’s Uptown Park featuring food, drinks, and fun! When you pick up your bib, you will receive a Space Race water bottle, sticker, and eclipse glasses!

When you cross the finish line, you'll receive your specialty Space Race medal! 

Prepare to launch at the start line in Leonard Howell Park and stick around after you cross the finish line for an out of this world after party! Free onsite parking for your personal space shuttle and packet pickup will be provided the morning of the race. Get ready for a cosmically good time at the Space Race! 

A post-race party will have music, food trucks, and beverages available for runners and spectators and will run until approximately 2PM!
